Who we are

CleanHaven Domestic Cleaning is a small domestic cleaning business based in Reading, Berkshire. We are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us on 07471 274012 or by email at hello@clean-haven.uk.

What we collect

When you use the quote form we collect:

• your name
• your phone number
• your postcode
• the type of clean and preferred day you choose
• anything you write in the optional message box

If you call or message us on WhatsApp, we will see the phone number you contact us from and the content of your message. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers on this site.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out your cleaning. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and then performing that contract. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing you have not asked for.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 6 months. Details of active customers are kept for as long as we clean for you, and for up to 6 years afterwards where needed for tax and accounting records.

Who we share it with

Nobody, apart from the services that help this website run and deliver your message to us (for example our website host and email provider). They process data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes. Your information is not transferred outside the UK except where those providers hold appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just call or message us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top.
